Shouldn’t this same standard be applied to Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, Kevin Spacey, and other propogandists for the American oligarchy?
The rise of this series on Trotsky depended on the “defense of artistic expression” that attempted to save the careers of the above-mentioned propagandists. Konstantin Ernst, the Russian producer tasked with promoting this particular work, could depend on the confusion thus created on the Left or within intellectual circles.
Leading personalities within the media have to face justice, including their forced withdrawal from public life. Without this development, the standards will increasingly fall, and the silence about such offensive work will unceasingly grow to grotesque proportions. Please accept partial responsibility for these contradictory positions.
