The “Predict” program for virus prediction, not predictatorial anti-democratic measures in response to biological (weapon or not) threats.  The government found 1200 potential threats for pandemics.  They probably found a combination of two viruses that formed a single new virus when placed in hosts in proximity.  This new virus, which could easily transfer between animals of different species, when entered into computer models produced conditions similar to the bombing of the Reichstag which gave Hitler “temporary” emergency power.  Whether or not the Reichstag was bombed is not the question.  The question is should Hitler have been given dictatorial powers?  Should the workers, in the name of unity, have backed down on their demands, rights, leaders and organizations?  No, the answer is no.

Trump shut down the program in March 2020, exactly the time when the Covid-19 virus turned into a pandemic.  The 2002 Anthrax attacks against leading Congressman came from a biological labratory supposedly studying vaccines for Anthrax.  The anti-democratic measures adopted in 2001 and 2002 obviously did not suffice to overcome opposition to empire-building.  As a consequence, as the U.S. military admits defeat in Iraq and Afghanistan, they have learned that attacks on leading politicians cannot shut down anti-war and pro-democracy movements.  The new biological threat, instead of Anthrax which targets specific people and allows for vaccines to provide negotiating power, does not appear so obviously as a weapon.  Yet, taken within historical context, that possibility must remain as a legitimate and important topic of discussion.  The Trump administration decision to shut down the Predict program would not have occured if a viral weapon had not been agreed upon in a secret treaty between the U.S. and China.  Scientific exposure of such a deal would need to be corralled together under this network of labs and silenced. 

For this reason,”unwillingness to discuss” must receive the harshest rebuke from the revolutionary movement.  Tactics require elaboration and desemination in detail, and this must serve to differentiate clearly the strategy of the revolution from reformist and certainly conservative plans.
