China scapegoated?  Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Trotsky all argued that Germany should be seen as an imperialist government, even though it lagged behind France and England in its Capitalist Development.

Trillions of dollars destroyed.  Fictitious or real?  Fictitious capital?  Does Marx argue that capital is fictitious in his book on economics, Capital or any of his pamphlets?  Destruction of finance capital represents the destruction of society’s ability to respond to economic needs in a timely manner, balancing accounts at a later date, trusting in institutions to maintain a balance between costs and income in the long run.  To deny this implies that the capitalists did nothing wrong when the market crashed and in fact did not even lose anything.  They cannot lose their grip on power it implies.  Finance capital, like state authority, is not fictitious but historically derived.  Erasing all record of financial transactions and accumulated property would be massively destructive anarchy, not socialism.
