Used to treat Malaria, making Malaria a preventable illness that kills 1 million people a year, 90% in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Production and free-distribution of Hydroxychloroquine would save a million lives a year, but at the expense of replacing Capitalism with Socialism.  The beneficiaries would be the poor, and the rich would lose 10s or 100s of trillions of dollars from their personal fortunes.  That explains why only a social movement of the poor working people can reverse the decline of society, saving it from destruction due to greed and the drive to accumulate personal fortunes.
