Marxists must make this point about racism: it is not enough to simply say it is wrong, one must see racism as an ideology that originates within the ruling class and serves that class in dividing the working class. In order to end racism, workers must find its root cause within the economic structure of Capitalism. In doing so, they can see the way towards its final abolition: the abolition of class society and the establishment of economic equality as the primary principle uniting society.
