Rather than address scientific arguments, the WSWS has promoted a slander theory, arguing that anyone who doubts their version of events is a “conspiracy theorist.” Supposedly, anyone who opposes the atrocities of the counter-revolution must support imperialism.

A new discovery has shattered this perspective. Scientists have found gene sequences taken from samples from the earliest cases of COVID-19, and these have proven that the animal market in Wuhan did not originate the virus. The slanderers have argued that anyone who doubts that the Wuhan animal market created the conditions for Zoonotic spillover for the virus must be witch hunted and slandered. The sequences had been published and then removed by Chinese authorities from public databases, hidden for a year from the public, since they contradicted the live animal market story of the slanderers.

Will this scientific proof change their minds or will it further drive a wedge between nano-bureaucracy and science, slander and reasoned argument?
