To whom it may concern:

The SEP has kicked me out of the meeting without warning or explanation. Please consider your arguments about due process and review this decision. Where is the accuser? Don’t I have a right to a process, a lawyer to represent me before a committee?

Assuming the organizational measures have not reached their end, a stronger warning must follow. The absence of law is not the absence of faith, and the working class will claim for itself the right to determine its course during the revolution. The workers’ will have faith in themselves. The bureaucratized committees will be labeled as such and sacked since they operate no differently from a Stalinist show trial. The ringleaders will be named and expelled from the movement. These threats to the working class revolution will not go unpunished. You haven’t eliminated the working class from politics by predicting their next move, the formation of committees. You’ve only proven yourself to be their bureaucratic, disguised enemy, and you haven’t eliminated that from their consciousness either.

Create a formal procedure to end my membership with a letter or you are not just attacking me but the entire socialist movement.  Allow me to argue with party-affiliated legal representation about my rights under the party’s constitution or you have not just attacked me but the right of all the workers to a revolutionary party without a counter-revolutionary bureaucracy. I assume the bureaucracy has already given up on offering any response, and that explains the tone having degraded into accusations and denunciations. In writing this, however, I have proven that I have given you every chance to correct your behavior and act like a responsible leadership worthy of political power. Do not be surprised when your results are disappointing because you have already shown your lack of concern through this “committee” process.
