The SEP Nano-bureaucracy has cleared the way for Israel to change the votes of the US Congress. By attacking basic democratic rights, including through the censorship of Democratic Power in the comments section, using Pepsi president and former Apple CEO John Skulley’s Disqus.com software, the nano-bureaucracy led the Israel lobby in their attacks on Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez. These high-tech attacks on democratic rights, inspired by “the myth of a surgical strike,” clearly have immense effects on the membership of the party and the advanced workers who support the WSWS, as well as society at large. Just as the herd-immunity proponents argue that human life, lives in large numbers, can be discarded without any cost to society, so does the nano-bureaucracy act brazenly to dismiss the work of genuine socialists in favor of the systematic destruction of the organizational and theoretical unity of the Fourth International. Only the formation of a Democratic Power faction within the SEP can overcome these attacks and create a coherent political defense of the idea of socialist revolution here at stake.
