Academics in high places have formed secret research programs with the Chinese government. The WSWS claims that no secret research and no secret partnership exists between the Chinese government and US academics concealing their research in China. This contradicts everything we know about the history of imperialism.

The Weimar Republic began to rearm its air force using secret facilities in the Soviet Union even before Hitler’s rise to power. The US seeks to develop a secret arsenal, developed under protection of the censorship regime in China, to give itself even more destructive power. The weapons developed in the Soviet Union by Germany eventually went into action within the Soviet Union itself, bombing to death millions of people. The US could deploy the weapons in development in China now against China itself or against its own people to smash anti-imperialist opposition to an invasion of China.

The WSWS defense of Dr. Kristian Anderson, a Post Doctoral Researcher at the same discredited university, proves they no longer care about science or the security of the working class. They only want to mount their Bonapartist defense of an American Luftwaffe that they supposedly can control to fight for power in opposition to a workers’ state based on democratically elected workers’ councils. The workers can fight for a legitimate, stable workers’ state only in opposition to the Nanobureaucracy and the Napoleon/Jefferson Cult.
