Left parties, the SEP included, will not come under the control of the people through a legal strategy that utilizes the courts and lawsuits. The rightful legal case that the Democratic Power Faction has against the SEP Nanobureaucracy does not constitute an argument for a legalist strategy against the Nanobureaucracy. As political agents of imperialism, we must regard them as torturers and murderers who will stop at nothing (witness their defense of witness tampering, prosecution immunity for the rich and powerful, and prosecutorial misconduct in the #MeToo trials) to deny the people their right to a legal party to organize the revolution. Democratic Power must oversee the expulsion of Nanobureaucrats that make it their life’s work to suppress inner-party democracy without depending on capitalist courts to administer justice or settlements, which we should consider an unacceptable, unnecessary compromise. We cannot accept a situation where revolutionaries must murder or conspire to murder one another in exchange for a a portion of a settlement or a chance to sit at the table with “the big boys” of capitalism and imperialism.
