The Nanobureaucracy took a strong stand against science and Marxism by joining discredited Pentagon contractor Peter Daszak in his “conspiracy theorists” campaign against scientific research. Now, the Biden administration’s top scientist has resigned under pressure for his abuse of staffers. Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, Eric Lander, the highest level science advisor to President Joe Biden fell from power after an internal investigation proved he abused scientists at his agency. This “scientist” who actually just threatened and abused scientists on behalf of bourgeois class interests, also listed as one of his achievements his role as Founding Director of the Broad Institute at Harvard and MIT, where Alina Chan and the “possible lab-leak” rather than deliberate bio-weapon theory holds sway. They too have a conflict of interest as recipients of grants from the Pentagon and fascist Howard Hughes foundation.

The abuse of scientists by Nanobureaucracy cannot go on anymore than the abuse of scientists within the Biden administration. Scientific advancements must result in improvements in the human condition for the majority of the people. This concept comes as a foreign threat to the Nanobureaucracy, since no Faction exists within the SEP to defend the majority of the membership from unprofessional abuse by negligent or worse unelected appointments with no accountability to full members and working class donors. We demand the immediate resignation of anyone in the leadership engaged in the suppression of Democratic Power and its three central demands: A Party Constitution as a public document, an annual financial report delivered to all donors, and an educational curriculum or syllabus complete with a standardized test. We also demand full recognition of the Democratic Power Faction as a legally recognized Faction that has a right to organize and prepare resolutions for Party Congresses. The same pressure bearing down on the Biden Administration will also force the SEP Nanobureaucracy to turn on its bad habits of neglect, abuse, and submission to bourgeois ideology.

In a future article, we will explore another important demand: the elimination from executive office within the party of anyone with a net worth of over $1,000,000 or an annual income of over $120,000 per year, with a lower maximum to be set in poor countries. This will not exclude these people from voting membership rights or the right to draft important documents. As Marx, Engels, and Lenin argued, these important offices, chairman, treasurer, etc. must be occupied by the working class itself. The bourgeois socialist must accept the practical implications of the Marxist theory of class identity, or the class consciousness of the working class, as an important factor in conflicts over theoretical, political, and organizational matters within the proletarian party itself.
