The US admits that dangerous substances exist in these labs and wants to accuse Russia if the Ukrainian Nazis release them. US funding for the development of the Covid-19 virus in laboratories shows the imperialists have the capacity to use such weapons to kill in excess of a million of their own people.

The Ukrainian Nazis must betray their own country, since the ordinary Ukrainians can benefit most from exporting grain and transporting Russian natural gas to Germany. Instead, finance capital prefers to stop the flow of gas and grain and drive up prices on basic commodities, allowing them to sell at a great profit at the expense of the majority of the planet. Artificial shortages, even in capitalist economic theory, arise directly from monopoly capitalism. The US benefits by breaking a possible alliance, built upon trade, between Russia and Germany. Germany has still refused to support US sanctions on energy imports from Russia.

The WSWS, in close partnership with defense contractor Peter Daszak and virus profiteer Kristen Andersen, an associate of the highest paid federal employee of the US government, Anthony Fauci, the virus Tsar, has covered up the long trail of bioweapons research exposed in the media. It has covered up conflicts of interest and portrayed a deliberately false view of the available science. It excludes the scientific views of Li-Meng Yan, Alina Chan, and others on the basis of a false accusation of “race-treason.” Any scientist disagreeing with the Chinese government has engaged in race treason, betraying their people when their first responsibility should be to the Chinese government, not to the public or honesty with regard to scientific evidence. Such a politicization of science sets the stage for the use of bioweapons in an extermination campaign in conjunction with a military occupation or the installation of a puppet government. This has historical precedent in the use of small pox to exterminate Native American populations. Both Europe and America have large refugee or “illegal” populations, numbering in the 10s of millions, that they would like to dispose of with such “accidental lab-leaks” combined with dictatorial lock-downs.

Democratic Power, in opposition to the WSWS Nanobureaucracy, does not take a pacifist approach to opposing imperialist war. The imperialist war must turn into a revolutionary war. A revolutionary army must arise out of the collapse of capitalist states unable to function under conditions of economic decline. That army must have a specific approach to revolutionary war: No exterminations of the people! Liberation of all refugees from refugee camps! Liberation of all political prisoners! Liberation of all migrants from second-class status! The right to work and vote where they live! An end to deportations and all forced displacement of populations and individuals!
