The Great Resignation in fact arises from the work of the revolution outside of the government and against it. This work leads to a movement within the authority to resign their positions. We cannot leave out, however, a class consciousness which will decide whether the Great Resignation actually leads to a new revolution. The workers at their jobs form a part of the authority, at times evidenced in the use of uniforms. This does not, however, eliminate the class divide between workers and capitalists. In order for the workers to take the power, the Great Resignation must take with it the highest ranks of the organization, allowing for the workers at the bottom to reach higher positions and change the internal policies that have caused so many to leave. Socialists should stay at their jobs and remove pressure off themselves by driving out the higher ranks of management closest to the employers.
