Sri Lankan protesters burned the house of the Prime Minister and entered the Presidential Palace in large numbers, even swimming in the presidential swimming pool. This follows the shooting of Japan´s Shinzo Abe and the mass resignation of the Boris Johnson administration, ending with the resignation of Johnson himself. As Marxists have always argued, the economic crisis will give the no workers no choice but to rebel. All arguments insisting that capitalism has solved the problem of the revolutionary working class now have no meaning. The only remaining obstacle for the working class is to discipline the leaders of the revolutionary movement so that they accept a party constitution and bylaws, a lawful governing body, and a mechanism by which revolutionary leaders can be replaced at the will of the people. This will allow the workers to take over any and all organizations that they need to establish a workers´ state that will resolve the economic policies through a committed socialist approach, the nationalization of banks and corporations, the confiscation of large fortunes, and the establishment of workers´ committees to unify the struggle of the workers internationally into a world federation of workers´ states. The old organizations of the ruling class, even those calling themselves workers´ parties or revolutionary parties, will prove incapable of accepting such worker control and resort to tyrannical control measures, leaving the workers no choice but to break up these counter-revolutionary organizations from the top down.
