I am tired of the anti-#metoo campaign from wsws. Why is #metoo blamed for driving a wedge into the working class, but other, very prominent anti-feminist currents and movements are rarely if at all mentioned, when they bear much more responsibility for being divisive. I think it’s more than a bit hypocritical and demonstrates how they really see women and how little they think of them. I think it is obvious that #metoo was a reaction to t***p’s rise and the events that preceded it in the years beforehand. Almost overnight all these vicious misogynist movements blew up, not to mention sex crimes have been on the rise, which isn’t a coincidence. Like WTH are they thinking defending b***k t****r and p******i among others. They talk of metoo being a “witch hunt,” while WOMEN THEMSELVES ARE THE ONES ACTUALLY BEING “WITCH-HUNTED” FOR SPEAKING UP ABOUT ABUSE AND STANDING UP FOR THEMSELVES!

If the WSWS Nanobureaucracy ignores the anger of the working class, that does not situate them at the top of the revolutionary movement but as a police barrier that blocks the march forward of the revolution. This power may go to their heads, but the crowds will not be held back forever. The Nanobureaucracy cannot defend itself against the working class majority, even acting ever more openly as agents of the police state. This betrayal of the socialist revolution has seriously deadly consequences for millions of people around the world and in the United States as well. As Marx and Engels wrote in the Preamble of the Communist Manifesto: II. “It is high time that Communists should openly, in the face of the whole world, publish their views, their aims, their tendencies, and meet this nursery tale of the Spectre of Communism with a manifesto of the party itself.” The views of a ghost-like Nanobureaucracy cannot substitute for an actual assembly of real Communists ready to defend their views in public debate and dispel the “nursery tale” told to frighten the little bureaucratic children over some contrived Spectre of Factional Democracy.
