I am a freelance artist [as of right now] and a student. I want to look into comic writing and animation as my studying goes along. I have ALWAYS been involved in art of some sort, be it drawing, painting, dancing, theatre, singing….I still dance for the fun of it, even though I was pressured for a long time to go professional…I’ve done community theater since I was in middle school. I’m also somewhat something of a military brat….but we won’t go too far into that. ;]
Anyways, my medium of choice is pencil or pen and ink, but I’ve dipped my hand into painting, printmaking, pottery [I’m not very good….], and pastel [which I hate as of right now].
I live in the south, but I’m not going to specify where, because that is none of your business. ^^ I love the south, it has either hot or perfect whether…and HUMIDITY! AHH I love humid weather…haha
I’m Christian, neither conservative or liberal. My favorite thing to draw is people. My favorite books are “Beauty: A Retelling of the Story of Beauty and the Beast” and “Rose Daughter” by Robin McKinley, “Fruits Basket” by Natsuki Takaya, “Fullmetal Alchemist” by Hiromu Arakawa, and “Howl’s Moving Castle” by Diana Wynne Jones. My favorite movies are anything by Studio Ghibli or Hayao Miyazaki, anything Disney [classic, anything CLASSIC disney], “Pan’s Labyrinth”, “Little Women”….I could go on ahaha! I love movies.
Favorite musicals are Les Miserables, Peter Pan, and Beauty and the Beast, and my favorite tv series are “NCIS”, “NCIS Los Angeles”, “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood”, “Fruits Basket”, and House Hunters. ^^
My favorite pastimes are reading, drawing, dancing, and sleeping.
