“The materialism of Marxism is dialectical, in that it regards the material world and its reflections in thought not as a collection of fixed, internally undifferentiated objects and concepts, but as a complex of processes in constant motion and interaction, with antagonistic and divergent tendencies.”
The SEP #Nanobureaucracy does not view the party in a Marxist way because it sees the party leadership as “fixed, internally undifferentiated.” “Antagonistic and divergent tendencies” make up a unified whole in Marxist theory, and in the same way divergent factions must unite to form a real Marxist party. At present, the irrationalist demand for absolute agreement, as shown by the recent public split in Sri Lanka as well as many comrades’ experiences in other countries, contradicts the dialectical view. This means the SEP is not a real party, or it is a party of irrationalist unity or a dishonest group with impossible pretentions as a party. This irrational unity that excludes all opposition, all opposites, is the political reflection of the corporate-capitalist private ownership of the party and its Nanobureaucracy. On the national and international scale, it represents the fallacious unity of the working class with private ownership of the corporations. It also represents the widespread phenomenon of “revolutionary socialists,” actually traitors to the cause, who implement capitalist and anti-socialist bureaucratic policies in the name of socialism. The dishonesty has as its opposite a naive base that rejects all perception of the reality and seeks to substitute for the political struggle sola fide.
