The #Democratic_Power_Faction position:

Every revolution against any particular government, taking place within the context of a global capitalism system, will have a proletarian and bourgeois character. The ability of the proletarian character to overcome the bourgeois character of the revolution depends entirely on the Fourth International (1.) bringing the correct perspective to (2.) the largest possible audience. If the Fourth International cannot argue the correct perspective because of submission to Stalinist theories of party democracy, whatever perspective it publicizes will be Stalinist or imperialist, i.e., deceitfully or openly bourgeois in character. If the Fourth International knows the correct perspective but fails to publicize it to the workers, that will prevent workers from arguing openly for a revolutionary line, having been blocked from that line first by censorship then by attacks on the democratic and legal rights of the majority.
The attacks on Lenin stem not only from Conservative but also Stalinist origins. By misrepresenting Lenin, they argue, they can set up a honey-pot trap for all Leninists. In that way, they can then create lists of Leninist enemies and target them for police-state repression. They justify this partnership with the capitalist state against the revolution in the name of providing the revolution with a leadership acceptable to the capitalist state. This leadership, regardless of whether it is the best leadership, has the responsibility of committing every crime against its opposition in the name of uniting the revolution under a single leader. Trotskyists must appeal to the working class and defenders of democracy as a whole to fight these criminals, since Stalinism threatens all of democracy in the name of fighting all Marxist theory coming from the Fourth International and its leaders in opposition to its owners in the #Nanobureaucracy.
