There is a false claim that a socialist must unite with society as it stands to save it from self-destruction rather than separate from society as much as possible to allow for the natural collapse of society which naturally requires human effort to maintain. It is denial of support for the present society that makes society unsustainable, but at the same time as it becomes unsustainable it also becomes destructive to everything but itself. To unite with such a thing is to become self-destructive oneself, and to separate is to destroy it or create the precursor to its destruction much to the betterment of the future of humanity, which is the humanity on the revolutionary side. Naturally, the revolutionary would like to cover up their role in the destruction of the old order by offering healing to the dying old society, but at the same time, such an offer only traps the revolutionary in accusations of treason as soon as the medicine fails. In that sense, when the system creates counter-revolutionary controls to keep out revolutionary labor, it prevents medicine of the very kind it needs from healing it or from even being produced. The armed police officer takes by force the vital medicine of the civilian state official, condemning the higher up to death. The counter-revolution produces an anarchy that produces a new revolution. The revolution raises itself from the anarchy by producing the socialist authority that produces a new functioning order and legal justification for the acts of anarchy that broke apart the internal structure of the old authority. The new authority, built upon the old anarchy, contains within itself the means by which to act with sufficient force to defend itself from all threats and from declining health.
